Peripheral Vascular Disease Pain

Peripheral vascular disease refers to a common condition involving vessels of your hands or your legs that restricts blood flow to the respective part of your body.
Initially the pain may occur only on exercise as the blood flow is inadequate to fulfil the need of working muscles. But as the disease progresses, it can cause pain even at rest, and sometimes may lead to ulcers and gangrene that may necessitate amputation of that part of the body if conservative medical and or surgical attempts to restore blood flow fails.
In our clinic we can help such patients get not only pain relief, but also restore blood flow and prevent amputation, by a special pain management procedure called as Sympathetic Nerve Block. This procedure improves blood flow to that region of your body and helps the healing process and also causes excellent pain relief.
